Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent care and attention to pets while their owners are away - Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding feeding, medication, and exercise routines - Ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and happy during their time in your care - Clean up after pets, including litter boxes, cages, and outdoor areas - Engage in playtime and provide companionship for pets - Monitor the health and behavior of pets and report any concerns to the owner - Maintain a clean and organized environment for the pets
Experience:
- Previous experience in pet sitting or animal care is preferred - Knowledge of basic veterinary care and ability to administer medication if needed - Comfortable with handling dogs of all sizes and breeds - Familiarity with pet grooming techniques is a plus - Ability to handle animals safely and confidently, including equine experience if applicable - Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks as required - Experience working in a kennel or similar environment is beneficial If you have a passion for animals and enjoy providing top-notch care, we would love to hear from you.
